In December of 2006, Hernan Hernández AIA formed ABACUS Architecture with
the help of two young architects, Melvin Deyá AIA and Homar Hernández AIA.
The creation of Abacus in San Juan, Puerto Rico, melds the experience and
wisdom of Mr. Hernández with with the youthful energy and creative dynamism
of Melvin and Homar.
Thus ABACUS Architecture presents to it's clients, a multi-generational
design and engineering firm in Puerto Rico, creating Quality Environments.
Presently, ABACUS has projects in-house which range from site planning to interior design. The staff of professionals includes architects, engineers and interior designers. Landscape architects, permit expeditors, estimators, surveyors and engineers round out our consultant base. In terms of equipment and resources, all of our design drawings are produced with CAD programs and state-of-the-art equipment. “At ABACUS our intention is to bring a distinct level of quality to every project, creating a solution that meets our client’s needs as well as their budget.”
